  • We currently have ~20,000 sqm of space in Berlin and London (~3,500 members, ~75 companies, ~40  team). In Berlin we have 2 locations, with a few more on the way!

This role is a full time role based in Berlin, and reports to the Head of Operations. 

Description

You will take the lead in managing the comprehensive sales experience for Techspace’s Event Space product,  accountable for its growth and profitability. This involves defining and implementing an efficient sales journey, as well as establishing and nurturing relationships with prominent event agencies and partners. You will be accountable of the ongoing sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of events across our diverse portfolio, while also facilitating their seamless delivery and ensuring exceptional client experiences.

Role

As an Events Manager, you will have cross-functional responsibilities as well as ensuring we are delivering a 5* member experience to event clients and their guests using our spaces. You will also support the creation and delivery of the Events strategy and annual budgeting process. 

  • Hit budgeted revenue - You will ensure that all events meet or exceed budgeted income and overhead targets, consistently seeking opportunities for incremental improvement in both areas.

  • Drive revenue growth - You will drive revenue growth and increase the volume of events in our London event spaces. 

  • Drive lead generation - You will prioritise direct & repeat event bookings and sales rates to establish a robust channel for leads in the future pipeline.

  • Cross functional collaboration - You will be expected to build strong relationships and work closely with all departments to ensure a seamless experience for event clients and process alignment.  

  • Marketing collaboration - Your partnership with the Marketing team will facilitate targeted lead generation for your pipeline, ensuring our unique brand identity is reflected throughout the event journey while identifying new opportunities for interest.

  • Competitor analysis - You will continuously identify market-leading opportunities and challenge competitors in delivering exceptional Berlin-based events.

  • Contracts and invoicing - You will manage key contracts and invoicing requirements within your scope, ensuring a smooth experience and timely payments.

  • Broker relationship management - You will ensure we are collaborating with the right introducer agencies and engaging the necessary event suppliers to complement our in-house offerings.

  • Reporting & data analysis - You will be responsible for reporting on the success of events to multiple stakeholders, along with providing a detailed analysis on different aspects of events.

Must Haves....
  • German business language skills: At least Level B2 – Upper Intermediate - Independent level. 

  • Strong Organisational Skills & Attention to Detail: You work efficiently to sell the product while diligently following up to close deals.

  • Accountability: You take ownership of your role, being responsible for your actions and outcomes, proactively anticipating challenges and seeking opportunities to keep progress moving forward.
