Your profile
Description
 
The Business Development Associate plays a key role in driving Techspace’s growth in Berlin - building sales pipeline, identifying and nurturing Sales Qualified Leads, and supporting our sales and events pipeline across Eiswerk and Kreuzberg locations. You’ll combine your understanding of Berlin’s tech ecosystem with hands-on sales and marketing experience to connect ambitious teams with the perfect workspace to grow.


Role specifics 

Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting: Proactively identify and engage potential customers within Berlin’s tech ecosystem. Use a mix of outbound channels, including email, social, calls, events and partner networks to build a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Inbound Sales Qualification: Manage incoming workspace enquiries via CRM, qualify leads, and guide them through initial discovery conversations, driving them to visit and tour our locations.

Events & Partnerships: Collaborate with the central Marketing team to leverage partner relationships and coordinate events, meetups, and workshops that attract key customer decision makers to our spaces. Use these initiatives strategically to generate new leads, strengthen relationships, and increase visibility across Berlin’s tech ecosystem.

Marketing Support: Beyond generating Sales Qualified Leads, you’ll help connect the dots between Marketing and Sales for the Berlin team, keeping Marketing assets up to date, feeding insight from outbound activity into campaigns, and using marketing initiatives to fuel the Sales teams’ prospecting efforts. You will be our local and day-to-day marketing expert!

CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM data, ensuring lead sources, stages, and notes are updated. Support sales reporting and pipeline tracking to help guide both tactical and strategic decisions.

Events Sales: Work alongside the Community teams in Berlin to secure Event bookings at our venues, The Vault and The Annex, supporting with sales enquiries and contracting bookings. 

Must-haves… 
  • 2+ years’ experience in Sales, Business Development or Marketing roles.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, qualify opportunities, and support deal conversion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in client-facing interactions.
  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills, with experience maintaining a CRM (HubSpot or similar).
  • A genuine interest in Berlin’s tech ecosystem and a curiosity for innovation and startups.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach: you take initiative and look for new solutions rather than waiting for them.
  • Collaborative mindset: You enjoy working cross-functionally and sharing insights to help the team improve.
Nice to have…
  • Existing network within Berlin’s tech, startup, or creative community.
  • Experience in flexible workspace, coworking, real estate, or hospitality sectors.
  • Previous experience supporting event sales or partnership activations.
  • Knowledge of pipeline management tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and data analytics tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with outbound campaign tools or automation platforms.
